Conco’s responsibilities on the Jewish Home of San Francisco include providing concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and shotcrete services as well as construction trucking. The new Jewish Home community broke ground in the fall of 2016 and is expected to be completed in late 2018.

The $140 million, 270,000 sq. ft. new construction with 76 memory care and 114 assisted living residential units will dramatically expand the Jewish Homes facilities and service reach. Since first opening in 1891 with a dozen residents, the Jewish Home of San Francisco has worked to help older adults live, grow and flourish in the community. Incorporating the understanding that overall wellness can only be achieved when seniors’ social and emotional needs are met in addition to physical ones, architect Ankrom Moisan helped the Jewish Home translate their vision into a campus design that promotes life-long learning, engagement with nature, and independence.

During construction, Conco anticipates placing 19,000 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete. The new building is slated to combine existing landscape areas into a series of three large parks that will revitalize the community and set the stage for a resort-like experience for residents. The project also includes a new auditorium, fitness areas, and art and library spaces.

Conco is providing end-to-end concrete services for the Mission Park Marketplace including concrete pumping, formwork, reinforcement, and finishing. The 23,000 sq. ft. project includes a new hotel, Element by Westin, which Conco is constructing. The Mission Park Marketplace hotel will be one of a series that realizes the vision of Westin’s new Element brand, which is set to transform the extended stay hospitality segment with a bright, modern design ready to service the Bay Area’s growing hospitality market.

With 175 guestrooms, the Element Santa Clara will also have several other key features and amenities, including 2,100 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, a 24/7 business and fitness center, heated outdoor pool and whirlpool, and conference suites available for small meetings. The hotel will also feature daily complimentary breakfast, relaxed evening social hours three times a week, and a bar overlooking the pool and deck.

In the heart of the Golden Triangle area in Santa Clara, the Mission Park Marketplace is currently under construction and expected to be completed late summer 2018. During the construction of the Element hotel, Conco expects to place around 3,000 cubic yards of concrete as well as provide shotcrete services.

The 1430 Q street project will be a 73 luxury unit mixed-use building that connects the R Street and 16th Street Corridors with Fremont Park in Sacramento California. The Conco Companies is providing a full range of concrete services including concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, and finishing.

Conco is pleased to work with HR Group Architects as well as D&S Development on the project. HR Group Architects have received significant recognition from Forbes Travel, the New York Times, and CNN for their previous design of  Las Alcobas Hotel. Conco is also excited to work with D&S Development whose values of creativity, incorporating beauty and function, and community synchronize with Conco’s own.

The modern building will provide the amenities people today are looking for including bike storage, a pet washing station, and an outdoor lounge.  The building will also have 9,000 sq. ft. of retail space on the ground floor as well as 93 parking spots. During the course of the project, Conco expects to place over 5,500 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete. Conco is also providing rebar and post tension reinforcement for the project.

The Conco Companies is providing a full range of concrete services on the Milpitas 750 Project for the Foster City based owner/developer, the Anton Development Company. The project is a 7-Level parking garage totaling 189,475 sq. ft. and will provide parking for 508 vehicles. This project is located at the corner of E. Capitol Ave and Montague Expressway.

Conco’s responsibilities include providing concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and shotcrete services.  During the project we expect to place 10,300 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete.   We are also providing 1,600,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement.  Our crews began the project in September of 2017 and will complete the job in August of 2018.

Santa-Clara-Square-The-Conco-Companies.jpg

The Conco Companies is providing a full range of concrete services on Phase II of the Santa Clara Square Project (Buildings 3-5) for the Newport Beach based owner/developer, the Irvine Company.  The entire project consists of 1,763 residential units within 7 separate, 5-story buildings, all wrapped with concrete garage structures and a central promenade that  includes approximately 40,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.

Conco was awarded Phase II of the project which is 3 of the 7 buildings (861 of the residential units) and wrapped parking structures for a total of 642,886 sq. ft.  The Santa Square Buildings are located between Scott Blvd & Augustine Drive from Octavius Drive to Main Street in Santa Clara, CA. 

Conco’s responsibilities on this project include providing concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and shotcrete services.  For the project, we expect to place 22,700 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete. We are also providing 3,100,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement.  Conco crews began work on the project in October 2017 and we will finish up our end of the project in August 2018.  The complex expects to receive LEED Gold certification for its environmental sustainability.
