The Conco Companies is providing a full range of concrete services on the 23rd & Valley Project for the Oakland based owner/developer Signature Land Advisors.  The 6-story building consists of 85,098 sq. ft. and offers 65 residential units on the upper floors, and 5,000 sq. ft. of commercial and retail space at ground level.  There is also 7,500 sq. ft. of parking (66 parking spaces).  The second floor podium is a concrete post-tensioned slab and the residential levels (three through six) are wood-framed.   The project is located between 23rd Street and Telegraph Avenue, East of Valley Street and close to two other big projects from Signature Land Advisors, the Hive and their $1.5 billion megaproject, the Brooklyn Basin with 3,100 planned residential units, shops and office space. 

Conco’s responsibilities on the 23 & Valley Project included providing concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and shotcrete services.  During the course of the project, we placed 3,000 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete.  Furthermore, we provided 525,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement.  Our crews began working on the project in June of 2017 and we completed the job in January 2018.

The Conco Companies is providing a full range of concrete services for the 600 El Camino Real Project from the Millbrae based owner/developer Central Peninsula Development, LLC.   The project is a 3-story mixed use building that includes 10,700 sq. ft. of retail/commercial space on the ground level with one, two and three-bedroom condominiums on the upper levels (32 residential units in all).  The approximately 0.9 acres property also includes underground basement parking for residents, street parking for commercial vehicles, a courtyard and a landscaped rear yard.

Conco’s responsibilities on the project include providing concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and shotcrete services. During the project we expect to place 4,400 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete along with 392 cubic yards of Confoam. We are also providing 375,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement.  We started the job in March 2017 and will finish in February 2018.  Central Peninsula Development expects the building to be open for residents sometime in fall or the winter of 2018.

Gateway-Village-The-Conco-Companies.jpg

The Conco Companies is providing a full range of concrete services on the Gateway Village Project for the Palo Alto based owner/developer Essex Property Trust, Inc.  The scope of the project consists of a 476-unit apartment building and parking garage wrap. The building wraps around a 5-story parking garage with a basement and has an additional 3 to 4 story residential component that surrounds the entire 6-story residential units. The entire project encompasses a total of 840,563 sq. ft. and provides parking for 776 vehicles.  The Gateway Village Project is located at the corner of Lawrence Expressway El and Camino Real.

Conco crews began work in March 2017 and we expect to complete the job in February 2018.  Our responsibilities include providing concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and shotcrete services.  For the project, we expect to place 29,900 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete.  We are also providing 4,500,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement.

Avenue-One-The-Conco-Companies.jpg

The Conco Companies provided a full range of concrete services on the Avenue One Project for the San Ramon based owner/developer Lennar.  The Avenue One Project consists of two residential buildings with a total of 107 units.  Each building also has two levels of below grade parking to accommodate 218 vehicles.  The project is located at the corner of Charlotte Drive in San Jose, CA.

Conco’s responsibilities on the project included providing concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and shotcrete services.  During the course of the project, we placed 8,000 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete.  We are also providing 1,000,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement.  Conco crews began work in November 2016 and finished up the project in December 2017.

Westfield-Valley-Fair-Expansion-The-Conco-Companies.jpg

The Conco Companies is providing concrete reinforcement and shotcrete placement services on the Westfield Valley Fair Podium and Garage Expansion for the Century City based owner/developer Westfield Design & Construction.  The extremely large project consists of a multi-faceted open and covered mall expansion of in-line shop spaces for anywhere from 70 to 100 stores and a 150,000 sq. ft. Bloomingdale’s.  The project also includes 6-levels of below grade parking with 1,300 stalls and roof-top parking, which will add an additional 567,495 sq. ft. to the already existing structure. The project is located off Stevens Creek Blvd. and N. Winchester Blvd.

Conco’s responsibilities on the project include providing reinforcement and shotcrete services.  During the course of the project, we will provide 15,500,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement as well as 2,955 cubic yards of shotcrete.  Some of the challenges of the Westfield Valley Fair Expansion include not only in the magnitude of the project but the aggressive schedule and anticipated shortage of resources.  Conco began work on the project in June of 2017 and we expect to complete our end of the job in July, 2018.
