Lenora Street and Boren Avenue in downtown Seattle is the site for Holland Residential’s new 44-story tower, Boren Tower. Boren Tower is a mixed-use project that features residential, performing arts space, office space, and below-grade parking.
The Conco Companies poured a mat slab in January 2020, consisting of a monolithic base mat pour of 5,920cy with an additional upper mat slab pour of 730cy. The crew utilized three pumps to pour the concrete. Cadman supplied the readymix, averaging 348 yards per hour for the pour, with a maximum output of 463cy per hour. Conco Reinforcing supplied over 1.5 million pounds of rebar for the mat, installed by RPM.
