Trusted Bay Area commercial concrete contractors, The Conco Companies, is supplying concrete services to the Walnut Creek Transit Village known as The Waymark. The Waymark is located at Pringle Avenue & North Carolina Boulevard. Services provided include concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, shotcrete, and Confoam.
The Waymark is a 703,857 square foot four-story mixed-use building and will include both ground floor commercial retail and amenity space. The project is being constructed in two phases. Phase One will comprise approximately 15,000 square feet of retail space and 358 residential units. The residential units will range from studio up to 3-bedroom apartments. Phase Two will begin once Phase One is complete. Phase Two will be located on the corner of North California and Ygnacio Valley. It will feature approximately 12,000 square feet of retail space and 238 residential units. Once complete, this contemporary building will provide residents access to public transportation services and easy access to Interstate 680 and Highway 24.
Throughout the construction process, Conco estimates over 23,000 cubic yards of concrete to be placed, as well as shotcrete and Confoam. Conco will also be responsible for providing 4,200,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement.
