Viamonte
Conco is providing a wide range of concrete services for Viamonte, a new continuing care retirement community. For Conco, this work includes concrete finishing, concrete pumping, concrete reinforcement, concrete formwork, construction trucking, and shotcrete services. This privately funded, market-rate senior community will serve the local areas with a social and community gathering focus.
This LEED for Homes certified project includes 15 different one and two bedroom floor plans that range from 750 to 1,525 sq. ft., along with common areas situated both inside and outside the building, resident food service facilities, staff support areas, and a guest and staff parking garage. HKIT Architects, building off their previous work that received the 2016 Gold Nugget Award of Merit for “Best Senior Housing Community – On the Boards”, crafted Viamonte’s design to follow an elegant, contemporary style that fits within the neighboring buildings. Viamonte will provide levels of care that include independent apartments, assisted livings units, and memory care services.
Conco will be placing approximately 30,000 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete for the building, and providing over 5,000,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement. The 174 units sit on a 3.8 acre site with a total building area of 297,216 sq. ft.
