1100 Clay Street
The 1100 Clay Street Project in Oakland, CA promises to contribute to the evolving dynamic of downtown Oakland and offer both retail space and residential units with multiple modern amenities. The 16-story mixed-use residential tower will provide 288 units ranging in size from studios to three-bedroom apartments as well as several community-oriented and accessible features. The first floor of the building will be comprised of the residential lobby, fitness center, co-working meeting spaces, and bike storage, with 4,000 square feet of the first floor set aside for retail space. In addition, the residential tower will have a partially below-grade parking lot with 144 spaces and a landscaped public pedestrian plaza that will be constructed adjacent to the building facing 12th Street.
For this exciting project, the development company Strada Investment Group and CIM Group partnered with the Conco Companies to provide a range of commercial concrete services. Conco’s work on 1100 Clay Street includes concrete finishing, concrete pumping, concrete reinforcement, concrete formwork, construction trucking, and shotcrete services. Conco will be placing 14,590 cubic yards of concrete and shotcrete for the building and providing 4,000,000 pounds of rebar and post-tension reinforcement.
