1998

In 1998, at the request of a long-standing client in California, Conco successfully bid on and built Phase 1
of the new Seahawks Stadium, the Exhibition Hall, and Parking Garage. After the successful completion
of this project, Steve Gonsalves, President of Conco, decided to expand Conco’s industry-leading reliable
and quality operations to the PNW. He selected Russ Soeters, a 15-year Conco veteran, to lead and
establish Conco’s first office in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood.

2001

In 2001 Conco put down permanent roots in the PNW, purchasing an office, yard, and warehouse facility
in Kent, Washington.

Continuing to strive towards the turnkey concrete business model that has made Conco the preferred
Subcontractor of General Contractors in California, the Company started self-performing Place and
Finish in 2002 and Shotcrete in 2003.

2005

In 2005, Conco acquired a concrete pumping company in the PNW to offer pumping services to
customers in the area. Conco also started supplying fabricated rebar and PT cable to the PNW from its
facility in Benicia, California, bringing another key component of the turnkey concrete scope in-house.

2009

In 2009, Conco opened a new state-of-the-art rebar and PT fabrication facility in Rochester, Washington, strategically positioned between Seattle and Portland, to support the rebar and cable needs of the PNW.

2017 +

In 2017, Conco was awarded its first project in Portland, Oregon, further expanding the full-scope, turnkey concrete solution to that area. In 2018, Conco opened an office in Portland and in 2020 purchased an office, yard and warehouse to better serve the Northern Oregon and Southern Washington markets.

Due to the expansion of Conco’s services into the Pacific Northwest over the past 25 years, Conco is now one of the industry’s leaders in providing customers with concrete solutions on the West Coast.
